One year ago, Frogwares announced The Sinking City 2 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a Kickstarter to be launched later.
The Kickstarter campaign is now live and has already met its goal within the first 24 hours.
The Sinking City 2 is a survival horror game set in the flooded city of Arkham, with Lovecraftian creatures roaming the streets and optional investigation mechanics. Unlike its predecessor, it is not described as an open world game but rather a world with large areas to explore.
In addition to the Kickstarter announcement trailer, Frogwares also released a developer deep dive video providing a closer look at the game.
The Kickstarter campaign will run until April 5.
