During a recent presentation publisher Nacon announced two new upcoming games with Cthulhu-based themes.
One is Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss, a mystery adventure game developed by Big Bad Wolf Studio. Tasked to investigate the disappearance of miners in the depths of the Pacific Ocean, you become more susceptible to Cthulhu’s influence the deeper you go.
It is planned to be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2026.
The second game announced is The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, for those same platforms. This one is a co-op horror game developed by ACE Team. Up to four players explore a cursed jungle searching for treasure while face with supernatural forces that distort your perception of reality.
It is due out in 2025.
