Saint Kotar Comes to Consoles on October 14

Saint Kotar, a psychological horror point-and-click adventure game inspired by The King in Yellow, will be released on consoles on October 14. Saint Kotar first released for the PC last October.

Eresys Devs Reveal Cthulhu

Eresys is an upcoming co-op survival game in which players explore a strange island and try to survive the forces that dwell there. In late June, the developers revealed Cthulhu as he will appear in the game.

Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2 Release Date

After a delay earlier this year, the action roguelike Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2 has a new release date. It will be out on September 13, 2022.

Alone in the Dark Reimagining Announced

An exciting announcement from THQ Nordic earlier this month was the reveal of Alone in the Dark, an upcoming reimagining of the classic survival horror trilogy. It will follow an original story with Lovecraftian elements. No release date has been announced yet.

The Chant New Trailer and Release Date

Upcoming cosmic horror action-adventure game The Chant received a release date alongside its latest trailer. It will be out on November 3, 2022.

Edge of Sanity Announced

The latest Future Games Show included the announcement of Edge of Sanity, a 2D survival game set in Alaska. According to its official Steam page, it is inspired by the works of Lovecraft.

Shadow Hearts Successor Penny Blood Announced

Finally, yesterday saw the exciting announcement of two classic JRPG spiritual successors, one of which is a successor to the Shadow Hearts series. Headed by Matsuzo Machida, creator and direct of Shadow Hearts, the newly-announced Penny Blood will be a gothic horror JRPG with cosmic horror elements like its predecessors. A joint Kickstarter campaign will be held for Penny Blood and Wild Arms spiritual successor Armed Fantasia.
