The Sinking City Returns to Steam Amidst Controversy
Frogwares has not created the version of @thesinkingcity that is today on sale on @Steam. We do not recommend the purchase of this version. More news soon.
— Frogwares (@Frogwares) February 26, 2021
The legal troubles surrounding The Sinking City continue as the game reappeared on Steam after being relisted on certain storefronts last month, followed by Frogwares tweeting that they are not responsible for the Steam version and do not recommend buying it.
The Sinking City also recently came to the PlayStation 5, but no upgrade from the PS4 version is available due to the dispute with the PS4 version’s publisher, as explained in the official statement.
Returnal Trailer, Gameplay Video
The upcoming roguelike horror shooter Returnal received a new trailer during Sony’s State of Play presentation, as well as a video that gives a more in-depth view of its gameplay.
While it’s not clear how much Returnal will feature cosmic horror themes, Lovecraft has been cited by the developers as one of their influences for this story. Returnal will be out on April 30 for the PlayStation 5.
