Gamescom 2018 is underway, and Frogwares shared a new cinematic trailer for its open world investigation game The Sinking City, due out on March 21, 2019.
The trailer is titled “Death May Die,” after the Lovecraft quote:
That is not dead which can eternal lie,
And with strange aeons even death may die.
If that’s not enough for you, you can check out even more gameplay from The Sinking City thanks to the 12-minute demo they’ve released. This gameplay video has commentary and shows off some of the investigation and insanity mechanics.
It’s also meant to highlight how you’ll need to rely on clues to figure out your next steps, since there are no mini-map markers to tell you where to go. (Video uploaded by Gematsu.)
