Bloodborne is one of March’s free games for PlayStation Plus members.
This PS4 action RPG developed by FromSoftware starts out with Gothic horror themes, as you hunt monsters in the cursed city of Yharnam, but it eventually shifts to have a Lovecraftian tone. Bloodborne is considered by many fans to be one of the best Lovecraft-inspired video games ever made.
Although we haven’t reviewed Bloodborne yet, we plan to in the future, and this is an excellent chance for PS Plus subscribers to try it out.
March’s full PS Plus lineup is:
- Bloodborne (PS4)
- Ratchet & Clank (PS4)
- Legend of Kay (PS3)
- Mighty No. 9 (PS3, cross-buy with PS4)
- Claire: Extended Cut (PS Vita, cross-buy with PS4)
- Bombing Busters (PS Vita, cross-buy with PS4)
Claire is a horror game, although not Lovecraftian horror.
Sony also announced that starting next March, the PS Plus free game lineup will only offer PS4 games – and apparently only two, which will be a huge decrease in content if they don’t change their plan.
But anyway, be sure to check out Bloodborne this March if you belong to PS Plus!
